Meet Christina
Founder of Femme Community Oslo
My name is Christina — and it's so good to have you here at Femme Community!
I'm originally from Donetsk and I've been living in Oslo since late 2022. In the beginning, like anyone settling into a new country, I was figuring out the basics: how everything works, where to find what, school, activities and so on. That kind of thing fills both your days and your head.
But once daily life settled in, I started to notice how much I missed real conversation. The kind that happens in your own language, with people who get you without needing the backstory.
And I thought — there must be plenty of women like me here. We just haven't found each other yet. That's how Femme Community Oslo came to be.
Outside of all this, I love creative projects, traveling and the gym. And above all I treasure my family and Parker — my chihuahua, who is fully convinced he's the most important member of the household.

How do I join an event?
Pick an event on the Events page and fill in the short form — we'll send you the details and a payment link in Vipps.
How much does it cost?
Each event has its own price — it covers the venue and refreshments. You'll find the exact amount on the event page. Some events are free.
What language is used at meetups?
Whatever language feels natural to you. We're a community in Oslo where languages meet easily — come as you are, with the words you have.
Can I come alone the first time?
Absolutely — most of the women you'll meet came alone the first time. We open every gathering with a short circle so no one stays a stranger.
Are there online events?
Our core format is offline — real events in Oslo. We occasionally run online workshops; they're announced in the newsletter.
